Ammad-Ud-Din Zangi (عماد الدین زنگی) is an excellent historical Urdu novel written by a well-known fiction author Aslam Rahi M.A. It tells the great history of a brave Muslim warrior and a great ruler named Ammad-Ud-Din Zangi who started a war against Crusaders for the sake of Allah. It is one of the best historical Islamic Urdu novels.
Novel’s Story/Summary:
The novel’s story revolves around the era of a Muslim hero her fight for his people and Islam. He starts a revolution against Christians who oppose Islam. Ammad-Ud-Din Zangi displayed incredible courage in the face of the Crusader and Byzantine attacks. Some detractors claimed that Zangi was a poor leader who produced odd outcomes on the battlefield. Zangi demonstrated his prowess as a warrior and military leader. He boldly led his troops throughout the conflict while maintaining his composure.
Ammad-Ud-Din died, and his two sons divided the throne among themselves. Noor Ud Din Zangi came rapidly to power. He expanded his father’s political influence by reaching his father’s goal. Noor Ud Din rearranged his army’s soldiers. He was now prepared to deal with the Christians.
The author reminds us about the sacrifices and bravery of our historical leaders and heroes who fight with the enemies of Islam for the name of Allah. You must read this novel if you like historical stories.
