Khwab Saraye (خواب سرائے) is a social Urdu novel written by famous female Pakistani novelist Aliya Bukhari. It features a socio-romantic story set in our modern society. The story is Aliya Bukhari’s lengthiest and is about 2500 pages long. The novel was made into a TV-Serial of the same name by HUM TV.
The novel’s story covers various topics, but its main focus is status discrimination in our society and cultural environment. Although there are many characters in this story, the central character is a girl named Sania. She and her mother moved in with her maternal uncle after her father’s death. Her life drastically changes when she starts working for Sajjad Khan.
The other primary contributors to the story are Faizan, Naina, Abrar, Baqir, Salma, Waheed, and Zarina.
