The novel’s story centers around a guy who doesn’t know about his true identity. His grandfather and uncles are his guardians. The family tells him his father died even before his birth, and his mother lives in London. He always wonders why he does not have a family like every other child. Why did his mother not live with him or take him to London with her? Who was his father? How was he born? Those questions bother him constantly. Eventually, he decides to find the answers on his own.
His story progresses as he becomes younger and is somehow drawn into the world of crime. Then follows a string of bone-chilling events filled with thrill and adventure, which take him from place to place in search of escape.
