The novel’s story revolves around a boy named Basaharat, who belongs to an underprivileged family. After his father’s death, he has to take care of both his sister and mother. Despite his desire to get an education, he doesn’t have the money to pay his tuition. He starts polishing shoes to earn some money after dropping out of school for not paying the fees.
One day, a seemingly kind man offers him tuition-free education, which he accepts immediately. Little did he know that he was being manipulated into drug trafficking.
